That should be enough for cleaning a medium size area. The battery is removable too so you can charge it anywhere.
The "skinny" design of a stick vacuum makes it very lightweight. It is only 6 pounds so people with weak arm or back would really appreciate it. It is also really easy for you to move it under and around furniture or under the bed. It even has swiveling head so you can clean those places with difficult angles.
